Nicely made and undoubtedly very warm but way, way too big for my lady hands. Sent back.

best mitten purchase ever. warm. love the "fur" for wiping the sweat off my face, and other stuff. came with the wool liners. used/ use for below zero, little chilled with out addt'l glove liners, but no biting horrible pain when i go inside and the fingers warm up. God bless you if you've never felt that. or, if you have. fairly thick leather. no real wear showing, yet, other than the yellow worn off in the high contact use areas. I use these for working. definitely a good value.

I work on my farm in very cold temps during the winter and was desperate to find something that would keep my hands warm. I received these mitts today and tried them while busting up the solid ice in the waterers outside. I was very surprised that these kept my hands warm. I wish I had discovered these years ago. My hands are large for a female, so I bought the medium size and they are still larger than I need, but that's okay. I also thought I could wear another pair of gloves inside these, but they kept my hands so warm that I think another pair of gloves would be way too warm. I also really like how long the gauntlet cuff is on my arm. That is a big plus for me since it can get very windy here. There are no seams inside these mitts, so they are very comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are the mitts you've been looking for. I shovel lots of Wyoming snow and am a four season bike commuter. Most of my old Goretex mittens and gloves get cold and wet, and I always wind up with snow or cold air on my wrists. These bad boys fix all of that. These are hands-down the warmest, hardiest, and handiest pair of mittens I've ever seen. On extra cold days (single digits F), I'll wear a thinner set of gloves and there's still enough dexterity to handle a shovel or shift the bike, although fiddling with the car radio is not possible.

I live in Northern Minnesota where winter Temps range from 45 degrees to -65 degrees F. I've always loved winter and never let the cold stop me from being in the great outdoors. Wether it's camping, fishing, hunting or trapping I enjoy every second, even when I can feel my toes. If you need hardy, bad to the bone, mitts then these are it.
