WOW! What a great hose! Seventy-five feet long and 3/4" inside diameter works for pretty much anything I need in my yard. It isn't too stiff and seems almost impossible to kink unintentionally. Being of rubber-and-vinyl construction it will remain flexible in freezing weather. Finally, the lifetime warranty makes this hose a great buy!

When comparing hoses remember to compare hoses of identical interior diameter.

If you're looking for that hose that's so thick that it's hard to kink, or the one that you feel like would be kind of hard to lacerate by pulling on it too hard or that wouldn't develop a bulge by leaving it under pressure in the sun, you're looking for a different hose. This one does bulge if you leave it under pressure in the sun; actually it's dilated about two or 3 mm its entire length before I realized it was going to do that. Now it looks like a summer sausage. And if kinks pretty easy. Don't get me wrong it's a good hose. But it's not any kind of commercial hose, at all. It doesn't have much heft. And the brass fittings on the ends are not lathed brass they're pressed out. There are better hoses for 50 or 60 bucks, sometimes you just have to see them and hold them in your hands to know whether they are or what you're looking for.

Updated 9/21/17: My mistake. The brass hose end did not break. It was a loose connection. This hose is solid! It feels industrial and curls into a circular mound with ease.

Original Review: The hose started spraying from the female brass end below the valve connect portion. It now sprays a nice stream randomly. Of course, the "return window" has closed.

Otherwise, the rubber portion seems heavy and durable. Now I have to cut into it to replace the threaded joiner.....

Don't buy this hose.

Garden hose. One expensive "Heavy Duty" "Farm Rated" "Pro" hose is like another right? Not anymore. We use a lot of garden hose on our horse farm NW of Dallas. I'd always purchased Home Depot's most expensive hose. A couple months ago I bought 4 more, but noticed the male and female ends had changed to light weight, brass colored aluminum. I hooked them up to regular City water pressure as I always do. All 4 blew off the ends within a couple days. I exchanged them at home depot figuring a bad batch of crimps. It happened again. Got a refund and went to TSC for their model. The ends looked better but same thing happened. Both HD and TSC are still selling the bad hose. Nice young lady, customer service at HD, says they've had a lot of returns. I spoke with the manager to be sure he knew, trying to help others. He said he'd look into it. They're still on the shelf. So, now even my garden hose comes from Amazon. This Gilmore model has the heavier brass ends you're use to. The first order is still working fine. 11 hoses from HD and TSC have failed. All returned. Thanks again Amazon!!! Go get 'em!

DO NOT BUY.... Sadly all 3 hoses I purchased have broken with in first week of use. All 3 hoses had the female connections break off.
