This hammer holster sucks the way it is! They advertised that it stops the swinging of the hammer and that it totally not true!! It could have potential but it is definitely lacking in design. With a few modifications of my own it might be a 5 star but it needs work. I may have wasted my money. I will find out after I think how I can make it better.

I use a wide belt, and the plastic clip is not quite big enough. I tried it once, and the clip worked itself loose pretty quick. The hammer holder has a metal clip that is adjustable (although I do not know if it will grap those super thin hammer shafts).

Works better on bigger hammers with full handles. SWings handle is too narrow to hold tightly.

Works great but the top adjustment for the neck of the hammer is limited when it comes to skinnirt hammers. It will adjust all the way closed which is great but it leaves an opening on each side which can promote many misses in the clip. Any hammer neck thick then somethingaround 3/8" h is fine

I am working on a habitat for humanity house and have a fabric pouch belt with a loop for a hammer. The hammer was hard getting out of the loop or the hammer got in the way bending over or sitting in a bent situation where I needed to get my hammer out. Well it wasn't an easy task. The holster has adjustments for any hammer and has adjustments for different positions. I really like the design. You can use it either with your pouch belt or just on your regular belt.
Wish I knew about this a long time ago. A great product and a great price.
