Worked well. I had a space heater that really needed a bigger cyclinder, it would frost up the 20 pound tanks and zi was constantly switching tanks. Hooking two tanks together made the heater work much better.

These work well. We run a 170K btu propane heater on my jobs in the winter to have a "warm room" to take our breaks in and dry off. On the really cold days the tanks will ice up and shut the heater down. To combat this I string (3) 40lb tanks together with these adapters to keep the pressure up and eliminate the icing problems so the heater won't shut down and leave us out in the cold so to speak.

Why have one tank when you can have two! Works as expected, saves the need to change tanks by 50%!!!!

I use this for coupling my 20# tanks together and this dose the trick very well. Currently using it for heating up my garage on those cold mornings i've only had it a short time but so far its a life saver. One tip though when shutting off the fuel first close the valves on the tanks and let the fuel in the lines empty before closing your shut off valve at the source. This will help when changing tanks as you won't loose any excess fuel that is in you're lines and leak out when changing tanks.
