Used this product to replace the Heath model that had failed a month after I installed it new. This one appears to be of a heavy duty construction, with the single voltage (24v) I needed rather than the 3 choices of voltage model (10 / 16 / 24v) which failed soon after installation

I bought it for replacement for my Honeywell humidifier transformer. It worked well for 10 minutes. I heard a loud bang followed by smoke coming out of the transformer. Quite alarming to witness that in my basement.
Addendum: The seller sent me replacement promptly. I installed it yesterday. It is working fine. Our home feels very comfortable with 35% humidity. I have revised my rating to 5 star!. I suspect the manufacturer needs to improve quality control.

Plenty of power for my Ring Pro video doorbell

My old doorbell transformer was not powerful enough for the Ring Pro. Acvording to online reviews, the Ring Pro performs best with a power supply of 24V and at least 30VA. This transformer met the need, and my Ring Pro now reliably transmits clear video. If you are installing this transformer to power a Ring Pro, it's a good idea to install a switch at the same time that lets you cut power to the transfomer and doorbell. This makes it easier to power cycle the doorbell, which is sometimes necessary if the doorbell loses its wifi connection.

Do not buy this transformer if you are planning to use it with Ring Doorbell pro and existing DoorBell Chime. I upgraded it from 16VAC/10VA to 24VAC/40VA transformer and it killed my doorbell Chime.Now i have to buy new doorbell chime + 16VAC/40VA output transformer.

I bought a thermostat that connects to my wifi and found out after that my furnace has no "c" wire connector on the circuit board. So I used this to power it. Works great so-far...A+.
