My 12 year old daughter loves this product, it closely resembles the quality of what is found where her gymnastic team practices. It' built well as is perfectly stable when assembled. The 8' box arrived in good shape, the only minor issue we had is when removed from the box there were wood shavings all over the length of the blue cover. A quick two minute visit with the sweeper fixed that. If you have a child that is serious about gymnastics, trust the Beam Store, quality is top notch!

Very nice beam. Beware, it is heavy! We put something under the legs per other reviews so we didn't scratch up the floors. It's very similar to what my daughter uses at the gym. Great for practices on the beam but since it's low to the ground - no dismount practice

Small tear at one end after a week. My daughter said a friend had her shoes on while using the beam and did it. Beam looks well made otherwise, and is sturdy. Slightly overpriced based on the fact that it has developed a small tear so soon.

The beam is nice & heavy, covered with what appears to be quality suede-like fabric. Arrived as promised, in perfect condition, well packaged. However, my 10 year old gymnast needs the longer version in order to practice walk overs and cartwheels (she is tall), so we are returning this one for the exact same product in the 12 ft version. Costly return shipping, so if debating between the 8 ft & 12 ft, go with the longer one, if your gymnast has any height on her.
