This tool box seems to be well constructed and holds everything that I need. However, it does not weigh 5.3 pounds as shown in the Amazon information but rather close to 16 pounds (according to my bathroom scale). I'm going to keep it anyway but agree with the reviewer who suggested getting a carrier strap and the handle is under a lot of stress once the box is fully loaded.

The box is solid and well made. The quality is superb! The ball bearing drawers are smooth, and fully extend for easier access. Each drawer came with a liner that protects the box from getting beat up. I am using it to store my plumbing tools. It also came with an Owners Manual so you can register the product, and order spare parts for the box if needed! By the way, Homak has been around since 1947! You will not be disappointed!

A good box; in retrospect I would have likely bought the Gearwrench offering. While I like homak in general, this is not their best unit.
This box locks the drawers when the lid is down, rather than having a keyed lock (you can secure it with a padlock when the lid is down. I have not had problems with the plastic handle, but I am keeping an eye on it.

Received this tool box today, in the Product Information- " Technical Details" is says Product Dimensions 22.5 x 12 x 10.4 inches the box is actually 20"x 10"x 8 1/2 , good thing i bought a bigger kobalt at Lowes for $20 less a few days ago, even the Homack professional tag is different then the picture, handle feels cheap with a few pop rivets holding it down, should be selling for half the price it is now IMO.

I'm a chef, I use this box daily. It holds all my knives and small equipment.
When full, the tools I have in the box weigh 41# (including the tool box)
The steel is not the thickest, but it has no dents thus far.
The finish of the box is still perfect, it looks good and is durable.
I've used this box for over 6 months with only one frustration, and that would be the top drawer will not stay closed.
The interior latch is somehow bent or broken, and the drawer will slide open.
I've not forced it or anything, it just quit working within about 2 months of purchase.
I transport the box from my office to the central hotel kitchen twice a day, and that is the only time the loose drawer bug me.
I'm sure eventually I will just put a latch on it.
