Cheap, had to sand the pull out drawer just to get it to function. It keeps tipping over unless you put a bunch of stuff in the bottom of the box. Looks great but it is not.

Very upsetting that this came damaged. It wasn't shipped with appropriate protection. It was a gift and sucked to have them open it and it be messed up like this.
You get what you pay for but sometimes you get a little more

I have to give this thing 5 stars. It was inexpensive but had several cleaning tools for several calibers of rifles. I knew going in that it wasn't a gun vise so when folks slam this for thin wood, I wasn't worried.
The box will hold your Rem Oil and a rag and patches and most things you need to clean your gun but my happy surprise is that it will hold a gun with a custom stock and become a pretty nice display piece.
You really can't beat it if you have more than one caliber of rifles...

So many grumpy reviews about this kit. This is all wood, not cardboard as some commented. Yes the wood it lightweight and there appears to be some laminate on the sides, but it seems to be built well and is a nice little kit. I was surprised the rod cleaning kit is nice too, probably even better than my hoppes kit. The rods appear to be brass and the threads have a better feel than the aluminum ones i usually use. The bore brushes seem to be good quality too. As far as the mops go, I have never used one, but they seem like a follow-up with some bore oil after everything has been cleaned, definitely not for the cleaning process. Very pleased and I can get rid of the cardboard box I have been using for my supplies.
