I never used a transit before, this transit was easy to set up and use. It also arrived unbroken and is a good quality unit. I was easily able to site my property lines at more than 200ft. Thank You!

This instrument is on the low end of the spectrum for level/transits, both in price and quality. However, it was adequate to mark rough lines and grades, confirm pitch on septic lines, etc. on a wooded building lot. As long as it is used for applications that can tolerate some inaccuracies, especially at the range limits, the instrument will work well.
