I purchased this at the last minute before an international trip and brought it in addition to a car seat for my 4yo. It turned out to be a very fortunate decision because the rental car we ended up with did not have any safe way to install a car seat (no latch, no anchor, seat belts couldn't stay in locked position!). Honestly I didn't feel great about this vest option for a 4yo either but it was better than a car seat that couldn't be installed correctly! My son was comfortable with it on and it was easy to use. I was so glad I brought it and realized this is ultimately the best option for international travel because it can be used with just the seatbelt.

I wanted to wait to write a review on this product with time and experience so here it goes- I purchased this Feb 2023 and it's been a year and well worth the money! It saves so much space when traveling with a toddler and it's easy to use. I have since told many friends and family members about it and even strangers and uber drivers who is interested!

When you're traveling the stress of carrying more things with kids may make you second guess even going but not this. I can always just jump into ubers/lyfts or any ridesharing services with the knowledge that my toddler will be safe with this car strap and the drivers can't deny us service. It's happened before. It's lightweight I can always wear it like a backpack in the given bag or stuff it into a backpack to carry around. My kid loves it and it's just like the review title easy peasy to use! If your kid is around 2.5 or 3 years old and you're always on the go or want to travel with ease I say this is a sound investment! I've traveled and use this a ton of times within this last year and it's still amazing to this day.

We bought these for a trip from the east coast to the west coast. We were renting a car and didn't want to have to travel with multiple car seats. These worked great. We could have used a booster for added comfort and views. A little dicey when they kids fell asleep and couldn't keep themselves upright. Also a little tricky to loosen the hook - my kids couldn't do it themselves. But would definitely recommend. We've used them a ton even after we returned home.

I bought this for my daughter who is autistic and was growing out of 5 point harness booster seats but still needs more structure than a typical seat belt. She is 6.5 yrs old 4'-3" and 65 lbs. I bought the large based on the sizing chart but was worried, given other reviews, that they run large and it would not fit. That was not my experience. The large fit her great and works to keep her secure. Will buy more for my other car.
