We go bought this in Feb and found out our old one still worked we opened it up in late August and it died today Oct 3. It only worked 2 months. I wish I could get a replacement. Do NOT order this they will not give a refund

Ice maker working great, makes ice very fast. Need to really run the cleaning cycle with vinegar or lemon juice several times before using ice though. Strong plastic smell and taste but once clean is really nice. I would recommend this ice maker to anyone looking for something for office or home.

I've been using this Ice Maker for over a year now and is still making great ice just like the day I received it.
The unit is on the large side however it was worth finding the counter space seeing how well it works.
Just fill it with water and let it do its thing. In about an hour or so you have enough ice for your party or for storage.
Easy to drain when finished and easy to clean.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Received product in a box that was well protected inside from any possible mishaps. The product was easily cleaned per the instructions, which removed all of the plastic smell. We were making clear delicious ice cubes the first day!!! We're very happy with this added appliance. We do alot of camping and where we stay is an hour away from the nearest store, we hope to never run out of ice again.
Consider the Issues with Any Portable Ice Maker

This ice maker is nice looking and well made, but I didn't understand how cumbersome it would be to use it. We live in a southern state and it needed constant cleaning to insure no contamination or bacteria. We finally gave it away because it was simply too hard to keep clean and maintain. In fairness, we probably would have had this issue with any portable ice maker. We had no problem with it performing as described; we simply underestimated the issues associated with portable ice makers in general -- something not highlighted in product descriptions.
