Not bitter, great value!

I purchased this brand after reading positive reviews about it not being as bitter as other brands. I use it in my oatmeal and in no-bake lactation cookies. In both instances, I do not even notice that it is there and I put a heaping tablespoon into my bowl of oatmeal so I was surprised that I didn't taste it. It may be that the other ingredients or fruit I add to the oatmeal mask the flavor, but that just tells me it's not super strong which is good. After looking at other brands and their reviews, I settled on this one because other reviewers claimed it was far less bitter and I believe it is a good price for the amount you receive. If you are thinking of trying a Brewers Yeast, I would highly recommend this one.

I've used different Brewer's yeast and have hated the way it makes foods taste. This is the best I have found. I mix it in to smoothies or baking and don't notice it. It's been a great support for breastfeeding to boost and maintain supply. I actually started using it while pregnant and noticed a huge difference in my initial supply with this baby than with my others when I didn't use it while pregnant.

I just inherited a dog who has been raised eating dry dog food only. My other two dogs are spoiled from years of chicken tenders, ground lamb, broth, etc added to their dry food. It's embarrassing when I have to board them and provide extra goodies so they'll eat. I decided to not ruin the "new" dog and to get the others on dry dog food only. I have been sprinkling about a half teaspoon of this brewer's yeast on top of the dry dog food and all three dogs eat it up! Since this is a good nutritional product for dogs I don't consider it cheating. :-) I didn't expect success to be so easy.

I ordered this brewers yeast to help control my dogs fleas. It worked well in the recipe I used - equal parts coconut oil and brewers yeast on the stove. I switched from another brand of brewers yeast due to Twinlab's better price, and it is most certainly comparable. In addition, my dog loves these treats and they do effectively manage fleas.
