Worked like a champ doing something it was not designed to do. The water tank on my boat developed a bad leak and I wanted to use the boat for the rest of the season and fix it after we pull the boat out of the water. Since I want to go cruising for a week or two before that I used your stop leak to stop or slow the leak(s) so I would have water for the head. Of course I know that you cannot drink the water after application but I am cool with that. Bottled water, baby!
The first application slowed the leak considerably and the second pretty much stopped it.

They work and are much handier to use than a can of stop leak. I have a tiny leak in a freeze plug that is behind a bunch of other bolted on parts, so I'm not ready to try to replace it. This is not a permanent fix, but as long as I check the fluid level about once a week and pop another one of these in, if I find it low, I'm good to go until I can take the time to start pulling off A/C, power steering, etc., to get to the bad freeze plug.

I have a 22hp Kawasaki engine in a Cushman Truckster farm utility vehicle that started leaking around the gasket of the water pump. I followed the directions and ran the engine for over 30 minutes after installing Bar's Leak fix. The leak remained for the first 15 minutes but after that the leak stopped! We will see how it works long term. I hope when I get to fixing the leak by replacing the water pump I don't have a big mess to clean up.

I use these every year when I drain and refill my cooling system regardless if I have any leaks or not. Same thing as GM brand but you get 1 more tablet and they are cheaper. GM used to put these tablets in the block plug holes before installing the plug. No issues in 20+ years of use.
