I have been using these for years with great outcome no roaches. I place 1 Hotel on every shelf in my kitchen alternating from shelf to Shelf the corners they go in. I actually place some double-sided foam tape on the back so I can stick them on the side of each shelf wall. For the rest of my house I dust lightly with DE. I do this every spring and absolutely have no live bugs only ones laying on their backs!
It Works

Solved my problems very quickly. I find This product is excellent and very effective the roaches disappeared within a few days. I have used it in the past however a few months ago it was not allowed to be shipped to my area why I do not know. I had no choice but to try other products but nothing worked like this product. I kept checking online at Amazon and finally to my relief it was allowed to be shipped to my area. I immediately placed my order and I am pleased to say that this product remains effective. I will purchase additional packs for future usage just in case the product is again not allowed to be shipped to my area.
Worked very well and active ingredient is pet-safe (same as Frontline)

This year we had a huge cockroach explosion over the summer. They were everywhere, even crawling into any unattended beverages. Orkin comes by monthly to spray, but it had no effect as most of them escaped by hiding in the walls (they seem especially fond of using electrical outlets as a way in and out of my apartment).
These did the trick. It took several weeks, but there are almost no more live roaches. I've seen several dead bodies lying around the traps, but the majority seem to crawl away and die elsewhere.
And yes, the traps do have an attractant odor that made my cat interested. But I taped the traps down and he quickly learned to ignore them. For those with pets, the active ingredient is the same as in Frontline topical flea treatment. So I wouldn't be all that concerned if my cat ate one of the traps, because he licks the Frontline off himself if I don't apply it in the right spot. And my veterinarian tells me the compound only affects invertebrates (arthropods, specifically) anyway.

and assured me that the toxicity is very low and that my cat would be fine based on the circumstances

**** I CANNOT REVIEW THE ITEM'S EFFECTIVENESS FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE ****
THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR BUYERS WITH A DOG OR CAT!
I purchased this for a roach problem we have inherited from our apartment neighbors. I have two cats and intentionally placed the bait traps in places where they could not get them (under the fridge, etc.). However, within an hour of me laying the traps, my cats lost their minds and did everything they could to get to them. One cat threw herself in between the narrow space in between the wall and fridge to try at get to it, and the other wedged herself under the fridge and swatted it into the open. When we walked out to see what they had done, one had started chewing on it as much as she could.
Thankfully, she did not get to any bait. The Combat hotline was extremely helpful and the on-call vet very helpful, and assured me that the toxicity is very low and that my cat would be fine based on the circumstances. However, I write this review as a warning to pet owners that it STRONGLY attracts pets: the hotline said that most often, the flavor is peanut butter. I knew to keep this out of the reach of my pets, but I did not know when I bought this how strong the scent is, and therefore, how much they would fight to get to it.

My apartment complex was having issues with roaches, so I ordered a couple boxes of these and dispersed them around the house. Within a day, I no longer saw live roaches. You will see a few dead roaches after a while. I recommend sweeping them up and disposing of them outside of the house immediately.
This product works as I expected it to and I will continue to buy this as needed.
