I only recently "found" the beautiful voice of Michael Bolton. I now own most of his cd's and a few dvd's. He does sing Opera beautfully. If you love his voice then you will be pleasantly suprised at his ability for Opera.

Once I had Michael Bolton's Secret Passion CD, which amazed me, and I discovered there was a DVD of his operatic perfermance I had to have it. He performs in a beautiful, old opera house in Catania,Italy accompanied by a full orchestra. Michael, however, stands quietly on a bare stage behind the microphone and sings with emotion these arias he's grown to love. All this is done before an audience of Italian opera lovers! At the end of the performance there is an enthusiastic, to say the least, standing ovation. This will be an enjoyable and worthwhile purchase.
