I am writing a review now because I'm finally in need of a new fan and was looking for the same one I'd bought in early 2020. This is it. I have used it many times for my dog, generally while in the car, attached to the metal crate. I used it on a 15 hour drive on low and never had to change the batteries on the trip. I have had to change batteries of course, since I've used it for years. But it did not seem to eat through them. I would buy this again for sure. Easy to turn switch for low or high. Moves a decent amount of air (it's a small fan - about 6" diameter - so don't expect large volumes of air), just right for travel, but I wouldn't rely on it for hot weather outside.

This is a great way to keep my German Shepherd cool on a hot day. Easy to use and does not eat up batteries like I thought it would. I typically use this fan once or twice a week when we are out training. I also use a thermal blanket that helps fight off the heat and provide some shade while my dog is in the kennel. My dog seems to enjoy it and has not messed with it while hanging on the door of the kennel. The fan is not noisy and is stable as well while hanging. I have been using this fan for about a month now and have no complaints from it's performance. If you are looking for a reasonably priced portable fan to keep your animals cool, I would definitely recommend giving this fan a try.

Seems as reliable as the original I once owned. I actually like the fan noise so that I don't accidentally leave it running and drain the 4, C batteries.
I wish that it had left-middle-right switch and ran on 2, D batteries like the one I still own and use.
