Needs to be hand sharpened

I really like these skates. They helped my two year old who is a size 8 shoe, balance on the ice.
The down side is I wasn't able to get them sharpened on a wheel, luckily my husband was a hockey player and knew to get a stone sharpener to sharpen the double blade. I wish I had gotten a stone sharpener sooner so she would have been able to skate when we got them.

My two stars are because of the fit. The size indicated was an 8, but in reality it was more of an 8N. My daughter -who has a regular width foot- could not get her foot all the way down the shaft of the boot to touch the insole.

I am excited that I found double blades for my 3 year old. But the picture has white skates with red piping and it is PINK! The black was out so I got white knowing my son likes red ... Not a big deal, I got red laces to make them look a little better. Just beware the color is PINK!

I ordered these in the smallest size for my petite sized granddaughter. They are a bit big in the ankles and therefore it is hard to get them really tight in the ankles for better support.
