Copies are clear and precise. Performance was slightly different than original equipment in that I had to place darkness selector of my Canon PC 940 to the light side rather than at neutral - otherwise copies were coming out too dark. This action was required even in the automatic mode. I'm guessing that this cartridge will provide more copies than predicted given the above mentioned need to reduce toner use.

I've had no problems with this toner cartridge and the print quality is fine.
I've found that with compatible cartridges in general (various sources and for various printers/copiers), occasionally you'll get a lemon. But since the cost of most compatible cartridges are usually less than 1/4 the cost of the name brands, you should still come out well ahead in the long run.
