I've been seeing videos on social media of people making textured art. I loved the idea so I bought some supplies and tried to make my own. This stuff was super easy to work with. I would buy it again in the future.

I received replacement item today in better condition than the first one. Both times I received the $8.84 but I paid $22.00 the for the green container.

This is what you would expect, it's joint compound... it did leak alittle, I believe cause it was upside down when I got it

This is a great product. We use it for drywall patching. It goes on smooth and sands nicely. It does take a little longer than spackling to dry. But it's worth it because it works well and is so much less expensive. Some reviewers complained that you can get this at your local big box home improvement store for $5.78 so the Amazon price isn't worth it. Come on"”seriously? I paid $7.24 at Amazon including free shipping (for this fairly heavy product) right to my door. To me, that's a very good value.

This works well for me: When the tub is less than full, it helps to wipe the inside edges after use, to keep those small cling-on chunks from drying and then falling into the tub. If you let those dried chunks fall into the tub and mix with the good stuff, they will mess up the next layer of joint compound that you apply to the wall and keep it from going on smoothly.

Another tip that works well for me when the tub is less than full is to press a piece of plastic wrap down inside the tub, flat against the top surface of the joint compound. Leave it there and put the cover back on for storage. That keeps the air off of it and keeps it from drying out.
