Too small, rusts quickly

The chains are short and very light weight. The chain links are small and narrow, making it hard to add extensions. The hand rings are very small. This product seems to be designed for a young child; my 3 year old can use it but the rings are too small for my 10 year old. Also, after just a few weeks in a fairly dry climate, the bar is already starting to rust.
Item rusting after only three months.

Bought this for my daughter in April 2016 for her birthday. First off, the chain is pretty tights for the carabiners that hold the rings and trapeze on and way too tight to fit the connectors on our Swing N Slide playset. Ended up not putting the rings on and using the carabiners to connect it to the structure, as the trapeze was what my daughter was most interested in anyway.
Well it is 3 months later and the trapeze is already rusting, in a straight line from the edge onto the handle, leading me to think that is is rusting along a seam, and is becoming unsafe.
It is not the first time a Swing N Slide item has rusted prematurely. One of our swing parts is rusting badly while the other one hasn't rusted at all. Not sure why some items rust and others don't but I am really disappointed as I expected better quality from Swing N Slide.

Very nice sturdy trapeze swing for our outside playset

Very nice sturdy trapeze swing for our outside playset. We have an older playset and the accessories needed to be updated. I have a 6 year old that loves to hang upside and use the rings so i knew i needed a new one. This one has been great. The bar is nice and sturdy and the rings are great as well. The chain has a nice coating on them so im not worried about my kids pinching their hands on metal or hurting themselves. I would highly recommend this!

Be prepared for small links that don't match up to your swing set. It looks like it would work alright even though the clasps have to overlap to hold the rings to the trapeze, but we haven't been able to figure out a way to connect the small links to our swing set.
Great for adding to a zipline

I have modified a zipline trolley to carry this ring and trap combo. The kids are never far off the ground so I would rather give them multiple ways to grab onto something and make the zipline more fun, for a longer period of time. Plus, holding on to these things means the rider doesn't turn around and land backwards. Not really a safety matter, just more pleasant to ride facing forward. And, so far, it's enjoyable and a quality product. The chains are metal, the crossbar is metal, but the rings are plastic. To see how strong they were I hung on them in the basement during assembly. They supported my weight (200 lbs) but I didn't test it for long. No need to press my luck.
