Pretty Door Stop.

A beautiful door stop, I bought this at Christmas time as a present for my husband, we didn't put it together for several months, since it was winter. In March I finally put it together, the fan was easy to assemble, ran smoothly and was not too loud. I love the look of it in my bedroom. Having a very cool spring we have not ran the fan till this past month, April each evening while we sleep, turn it off in the morning and back on at night. Two nights ago my husband turned it on and the blades would not move although we could hear the motor running. I removed the cage turned the blades and it started working again, tonight will not turn, blades are binding up inside of the machine. So our ugly trusty box fan was pulled from the basement for the night and we now have a beautiful door stop that looks like a fan.
GORGEOUS antique-look fan and blows really well

I ordered this fan for my dining room which gets a little hot in the Houston summers sometimes. There is an AC vent in there, but it doesn't seem to blow very hard. I had a small Vornado fan sitting on a pedestal in there to help circulate the air from the AC vent or from the window. It worked but it was not pretty, looked kind of crummy and was kind of loud, so I was looking for a nicer looking, taller fan to sit in there permanently. I like the antique or country look with some bling, and this fan fits the bill. It is an antiqued look and very pretty and blingy. It has 3 speeds and the highest setting is REALLY strong. I wasn't expecting it to be as strong as the Vornado but I think it is, if not stronger. I usually only put it on the lowest setting if I'm in the dining room, and may turn it up higher to circulate the air into the living room when I'm not in there. Surprisingly, it is not very loud. I usually watch TV while eating and have no issues with the fan sound. I would definitely buy again if I need one for another room.
Packaging and quality not up to par

I have two of these and bought them for bedrooms that have antique furniture. They are just O.K. The packaging was a mess with little pieces of Styrofoam flying everywhere due to the layers of Styrofoam being crushed. The second one I opened was chipped on the base in two places. It is made of a plaster-type substance. I super glued it back together and it will do. The fan is so heavy that a weak person wouldn't have a prayer of moving it around. The motor is really heavy and it makes the fan feel like it's top-heavy and unsteady. Not impressed in the quality at all. If I could have found another brand that had the vintage look I wanted I wouldn't have bought the second one.
Great looking solid fan but noisy.

The item is pretty. The wood is nice and solid. There aren't a lot of decent looking floor fans out there. DecoBREEZE definitely had the nicest looking fans available. The blades were a bit flimsy and it would be nice if they were a little beefier. Of course when I unpacked it, little styrofoam pieces flew all over, but the item did ship well without any damage. I am using it in place of a ceiling fan in a guest room. My main complaint is that it is really noisy. To be fair, I had read that piece of information in other reviews but hoped people were exaggerating, but they weren't. It is too bad, because it is a very nice looking fan. You would think an established company like Deco BREEZE that has been making fans for years could figure out a way to make their fans quieter. I would even pay more for that detail.
So disappointed

We had a DecoBreeze floor fan until it was recently damaged in a move. I was excited to find this one on Amazon, and I ordered it expecting the same high quality fan we had experienced before.
I opened the box yesterday to assemble it. I first unpacked the base and noticed a few scratches. No problems, I can live with that. Then I unpacked the two separate sections of the pole. Again a few scratches and I dismissed them. Same with the fan blades with a bonus of a slight chip on the end of one of the blades. I had come to terms that it wasn't going to be perfect, but not enough to go through the hassle of returning it.
Now the real fun begins. The instruction book was for another model and referenced parts not found on this particular fan. I adjusted based on what I saw, and I was going to muscle through. The last straw was when there was no stabilizing screw for the fan blades. I tried to use the one off my old fan, but it didn't fit.
I finally gave up, reboxed, and it's going to be on its way back as soon as I can get to UPS.
Based on my experience, I do not believe that this was a new fan. If it was, the quality control team should all be fired.
