Not the Hellman's I grew up with

Hellmans is the brand I grew up with, and the only brand I buy. But this jar must have been stored wrong, or had a manufacturing problem, because it tastes totally unlike the Hellman's I buy at the store and has a runny consistency that makes my salads rather soupy. No ill effect from consuming it, and it is well within date, but it just isn't very good. Think I'll stick to the grocery store for this one in future.

We came from the east coast, and my dad always asks my friends to bring him a jar of Hellmans when they come to visit. Imagine his excitement when I told him you can order it online now! They sell Best Foods here in the west, and while Everyone says its by the same people, therefore it should taste the same, my dad will argue that its different. He was thrilled when I gave him a jar of real hellmans and now he reminds me to order more whenever he's about to run out.

Hellmann's Real Mayo is the best! It's the brand we always stick with unless there is a particular quirky recipe that requires something else. I included it in a goodie box sent to a family member on the mend along with other essentials, and they loved it! Soooo, it's also a great gift item for those with selective requirements in salad dressings!

I like the taste of Hellmann's more than the Kraft mayo. My only problem is with the size of this container. I misjudged the size of a 64oz. its huge. It doesnt fit easily in my refrigerator. However its my fault, for not realizing the size of this thing. It will not fit in the door of my fridge so I keep it in the back and use it to refill my squeeze mayo bottle when it gets empty and then I have a much more easily handled container for my mayo
Okay, but I'll stick to regular Hellman's Mayonaise as this tastes OILY.

The taste is good, of course not as rich as Hellmann's regular flavor, but still good. I guess what I don't like about it is that when it is mixed with other foods like tuna fish, the food takes on a sheen of its own. It just looks weird... kind of artificial. I'll be sticking to the regular Hellmann's.
