Okay, this is really freaking cute.
Burton & Burton's products always have the worse packaging jobs. Expect it broken, be prepared to fix it.

As stated with many others. The packaging the frog comes in is very weak. If you choose to buy one be prepared to do some mending once it gets to your home. I also bought the Salt and Pepper shaker too which were damaged. In general Burton & Burton drops the ball everytime when it comes to packaging.

As others have experienced, mine arrived with minor damage (probably due to shipping). Thankfully, the damage was just a small chip inside the edge of the lid, and doesn't really effect its use. I used some superglue to repair it and it seems okay...I just didn't have the heart to send this thing back- too cute.
I do have some concerns about the longevity of this jar (other than as a display piece) due to the numerous complaints I've seen with the jar arriving either in pieces or having some minor chip (like with mine), and after examining the chipped off pieces. I suspect the jar was not fired properly during manufacture.
Also, there is no seal (rubber, silicone or otherwise) inside the lid or mouth of the cookie jar. This may be a plus for some people, but as delicate as this thing seems to be, some of you might want to add one.

Love this cookie jar - Toby is too cute! The finish on the jar is nice, it cleans easily inside and out, and holds a whole bag/batch of cookies. There's also no little details that stick out, begging to get chipped/dinged while it sits on the counter. I can't say I understand the little flower on his stomach...is it a bellybutton? Either way, doesn't bother me, because it's just an overall nice cookie jar.
