Suction cups could be better

The suction cups wear out after awhile and then it falls down. After floating around in the tank for a while it still works.

It looks cute, but it's not accurate. I worry for pets who have to rely on particular living conditions whose owners rely on this. Maybe I just got a bad one. It does not do the job it is supposed to do.
