Great tank !! More then happy with the quality and price ,, wish they offerd with different fuel inlet locations ,, had to slightly modify my boat to except the tank ..
it would be likely The pick-up tube would suck air and the vent would puke out fuel overboard

The tank itself is well constructed. The problem is the pick-up tube and vent are reversed and not interchangeable. That might work on an RV, but definitely not on a boat. When trying to get on a plane, it would be likely The pick-up tube would suck air and the vent would puke out fuel overboard. The fix is to order part # 033500-12 with the fuel tank, for about $19, and some brass fittings and swap them.

Bought this to fit in a motorhome, and it worked well. The sending unit was not right for the motorhome fuel gauge, so I bought an aftermarket sending unit. I had to open up the hole for the sending unit, but after that, things went well.
