Lovely statutes and book, but take care with unpacking!

The statues and book were very nice, but the packaging was difficult to handle without ripping one's hand. The statues were securely wired to the box and required pliers, wire cutters, and much care to avoid injury.

Amazing! My granddaughters love this and the other set I purchased. I loved the Misty series as a child. My granddaughters' eyes lit up as i'm Certain mine did when reading and imagining. Then as a an added pleasure, they began to role play with the horses from the sets.

The book is a classic, (and still readable and engaging). The Breyer models are high quality. The set has keepsake value, play value, and a lot of Oohhh! value, especially for a horse loving girl like our granddaughter. A sure thing.
Book is a classic. Breyers are the best. Can’t go wrong.

Both my daughters (10 & 9) *loved* the book and are reading book 2 now. The ponies have texture painted coats. Cute and I'm glad the girls were able to find a book they both liked.

I loved Misty and Story as a child. In fact, having had the models, I was thrilled to see these. The paint is not as brilliant as it was back in the day, but they are still fantastic. Glad to add these to my childhood collection.
