We mainly use this product to step up to 220V. The appliance we use it for requires 1000 watts. Love how it work so far. It stays relatively cool and is super user friendly. The downside of the product is the weight, around 30 lbs. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a reliable voltage transformer.

I bought this for my new Samsung smart TV, which I sent it to India. There is a voltage difference there compared to U.S. The required voltage there is 220V. After going through so much research I bought this voltage transformer and it solved the purpose. We already used for more than a month and there are no issues. It not only works with the TV, but also with Works great with sewing machine, Massage machine, and Xbox. I agree its heavy but its worth it. It meets my standard and works like a champ.

The product description says the unit weighs 1 pound. Not true! It weighs more like 3 pounds, 3 ounces.
I own a 1500W step-up, step-down transformer in this same series, and it has served me well for several years. Therefore, I was disappointed that the 100W model wouldn't be usable because of the weight. I'm needing it for a series of trips and have a very limited baggage allowance.
