Far cheaper alternative to the Akro-Mils dividers

These are brittle. You must score with a knife before breaking. They do fit the Akro-Mils 10164 64 Drawer organizer with a snug fit.

Other than being a little pricey for plastic they are great. I was hesitant on purchasing because of the reviews mentioning how the individual dividers are difficult break a part and jagged but it turned out to be a nonissue. I found that slowly bending them back and forth several times at the molded joints left the least jagged edges. Then cleaned up the edges by placing a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface and running the dividers back and forth. This worked well. I did not have any problem with the dividers snapping where they are not supposed to.
There were also comments about how thin the dividers are. I don't see their thickness being a problem.
They fit perfectly in my Snap-On DS-39 and DS-60 cabinets which I purchased years ago. I was worried about the listed height of the dividers being shorter than the depth of the actual drawers. Again, turned out not to be a problem. And, there is a reason for it... if you look at the cabinet itself each drawer slot has a little "tooth" hanging down to prevent you from accidentally pulling the whole drawer out and spilling the contents. So the divider has to be shorter than the drawer so it doesn't get caught on the tooth.

These are somewhat useful but not without some extra work. The only way to keep these guys from just rattling around and moving up and down was adding some electrical tape on the sides of each piece and jamming them down in tight. There's no way you're going to keep a full drawer of screws/nails, etc separate without it as they will slide up whenever you go to get anything, then either mix the contents or get stuck underneath and not go all the way back down. It really seems like there should be a better solution to this.
They are also very brittle, hard plastic prone to breaking/cracking if not very careful punching them out. This could have easily been solved by using a softer, bendable, but still strong plastic.

Great for replacing lost dividers or filling out secondhand units

I totally agree with other reviewers saying that it's scummy for Stack-On not to provide these dividers with their storage units, but I'm also deeply grateful that they sell them separately. I have three old units, with some dividers but not nearly enough, and these worked perfectly in all three. For reference, those units are:
* Stack-On DS-27 (they'd better work here).
* Flambeau Products C20P.
* Work"¢Shops "Nut & Bolt Shop" hardware kit (the kits are no longer made, and I don't know the make of the organizer itself, but I've seen them around a couple places, so there may be quite a few out there second-hand).

Better quality before

I've got these before for the same Stack On cabinets that I needed them for again ( I just needed more). I was disappointed this time as the quality of the plastic/acrylic seemed weaker. Cheaper. When I flexed them back and forth, to remove one from another a few of them split in half or cracked mid-way. If your planning on using them all then it stinks to have one break, and I do use them all. The 39 blue Stack On cabinets, also sold on Amazon, are what I use to organize LEGOS. Over 57,000 piece of LEGO have to go some place, and the small ones don't belong at the bottom of some random bucket never to be seen again, so yes dividers are key! It stinks they broke so easily vs. the order before this one of the exact same product. Two words, quality control. It matters people. It was the same for the smaller version of these as well, to which I will also review. A downer in general is that these don't just come with the cabinets themselves when they really should. I'll buy these again ( I need more) but if those do the same thing, they're gonna half to go back which is sad since they are so inexpensive, but a dud is a dud.
