Purchased this item on the advice of an occupational therapist for my dad who suffers from neuropathy in his hands and legs. It was increasingly difficult for him to hold eating utensils and once I cut these to fit them, he was able to hold them with ease. I recommend this product for this particular need and for any other reason one may have. It would work well for toothbrushes (but I think that would get a little messy) and anything else that is too thin or narrow for comfortable use.

I used some of the larger ones around my oil painting palette knife handles for when I mix paint on my palette. The beige one fits colored pencils, the red one fits a regular bic pen, and the blue who knows, something way bigger.

I don't really know what these are supposed to be for, but I slipped them over the rungs of a multi-level pants hanger, and it is perfect for keeping creases out of the pants.
