Excellent value.

I was worried about the quality because of the price. Nothing to worry about. They work great and are very precise. I measured items that had known dimensions and they are spot on.
Worth the money.

Works great better than cheap set and did not cost as much as a high end set.
I hope they're not all like this...

Well I had high hopes for this caliper, as it is built exactly like my imported caliper I used for many years. I hope mine was just a defective one, and this is not an issue with an entire production run. The issue is that when the calipers are closed, the needle sometimes swings way past zero, but then opening and closing again brings it back to zero. The dial needle also has migrated very slowly counterclockwise when closed at 0.000", back to -0.085". While this can easily be remedied by adjusting the dial face to align the needle with zero, the fact remains that the needle is creeping CCW, leaving this tool of no use to me. Every time I open and close the calipers I have to reset zero. I have already ruined one part I was making due to this issue. I'd be happy to return this item, and give another one a try though...

Great calipers, great price. Look no further
Not as precise on both ends.

Nice tool for the price but not as "smooth" as a higher end caliper. One issue has been when measuring depth, it is off by about 0.011 from being zeroed on the dial. If I remember to zero the depth on something flat and set zero on the dial then it works fine.
