This came installed on my new sportman boat. It broke within thendirat few months. A few issues with it, mostly due to poor design. I had it replaced and alreasy same issue. The guard has already bent causing other issues. The crank does not work all the time, I need to manually crank it open and close. I would not recommend

First one broke after out of warranty, shaft on the clutch bent. The second one wont freefall properly. I'll get a different brand next time. Don't waste your money on this poor design.

A real piece of crap. Had it professionally installed, used it once and it broke. Had a replacement installed, used it in 25 ft of water, sandy bottom. Broke again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!

I had a pro fish 1000 installed professionally. Also bought correct Lewmar 8 plaight line.It had clutch slip issues then completely broke. `Lewmar will not honor warranty , also got outright nasty on phone . They demanded pictures of install. Windless was installed in july destroyed in august . maybe used 5 times I have NEVER seen such poor public relations. They know this equipment has major issues and DON'T care. Piece of crap, horrible , they just don't care. Blamed me for everything not tying off , wrong rope/chain , incorrect install , anything you can think of site unseen. All I can say to anyone is don,t get involved with this company at all .Being replaced with a good . Also as a side note other people in my marina have had similar experiences . RUN from this equipment/company
