Great when there are several valves in a small vault

I live in the mountains in Southern California above 6,200 feet elevation. I have 8 Compact Champion automatic valves inside two small vaults. Because the winter temperatures are often far below the freezing point, they had to install these valves about 12" or more below grade. Unfortunately, the original installation used all Champion Compact valves and that leaves no room to switch to the larger valves that are currently available without a major excavation and replumbing job. These compact valves appear to be no longer made and are very hard to find. I was fortunate that I was able to find this one on Amazon.

the best adapter

very compact and good quality, replaced an old toro adapter and this unit easily fit right in, the new toro's are wider and would not fit, this unit is twice the price but saved a lot of labor, would have had to cut out all five valves and re do the plumbing, I was money ahead

why it's not called an anti siphon

its not called an anti siphon because the anti siphon is the body to which the actuator attaches to
