This is what it says it is. A good clear easy to apply clear coating.
I tried it on some Canadian hemlock. I was hopping for it to turn it a little darker and wet looking. It didn't do either. But it was as advertised. If you want a coating that seals your wood it does that..
I can't testify to longevity. I don't like water clean up outdoor coatings because regardless of the instructions they don't hold up.
I am going to stain the wood and try it as a coating over the stain.
I will add to my review after.

I use this to refinish a wooden rocking chair that would be left outside. This is exactly what I was looking for to help maintain the rocking chair from getting damaged by the weather. I used a few coats on the rocking chair and it creates a fantastic barrier against the elements. It does have a very glossy shine. If you are using any wood products for the outside you definitely need this
