It will not stop a freeze plug leak. I followed directions to the letter. If this is your issue, DO NOT PURCHASE. I should've followed the advice of previous reviewers, with same problem. I'm going to just have freeze plugs replaced and hope that this "stuff" didn't cause any damage. I guess there's not shortcuts to freeze plug repair.
