I just wonder why the Royal Doulton logo was not used.

I thought the tea set and extra cups and saucers were beautiful. I bought them as a gift to a special friend. At first, when I saw the items were not made in England that they were copies of the Royal Doulton brand I favored many years ago. I had no idea the company had been transferred to Indonesia. I did expect the Royal Doulton logo on each piece but I suppose everything changes. I also remember when Royal Albert was a brand in itself but guess that has all changed too. I am eighty eight years old and have not bought china pieces in many years. I am very pleased with this lovely tea set and it will make a beautiful gift.

This beauiful style of pattern that I have admired for a long time. I worried about the sheerness that the cup or saucer might break while being shipped. The packaging was sturdy with a lovely box inside enclosing the items that could have been used to give as a gift without re-boxing. I made a mental note to use as a future idea but this one was my long wanted addition to my cup collection. There were no cracks, scratches, or breaks because the cup and saucer were each in a separate, well-shaped section of the gift box. A nice gift for someone in the future.
