Prefect Fit

I was having trouble finding a small cabinet to fit in a tight spot.... This fit perfectly under our stairway and is very sturdy!! When I'm cooking and need a little extra work space I just pull it out and put it next to my stove, and I have a little more storage. It's a perfect fit to our small cabin in the woods.
Nice and easy to build

Very nice. Was very easy to assemble. Only bad thing was the front door hinge isn't quite right so right door will not stay shut.
Very Good Quality-Exceeded My Expectations

I read a lot of the reviews for this product before buying it so I was both optimistic and nervous. There were enough positive reviews regarding the materials quality that I was convinced it must really be made of solid wood. On the other hand, there were a fair number of negative comments regarding how well the parts fit together. My expectations were exceeded in every way. I have assembled many products more complicated than this one and I do a lot of handy work (my brother and I just finished building my house from scratch), so I'm pretty good at being able to identify whether or not an item is a quality product. This storage cart is a quality product, especially for the price. During my research, I found a very similar product for $100 more but decided to take a chance on this one and I'm glad I did.

The item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Each piece is individually wrapped and there are lots of Styrofoam layers between and around the pieces to prevent damage during shipping. Though the assembly instructions consist of a bunch of pictures without descriptive text, the pictures are very clear and assembly was a breeze. All that's required is a Philips screwdriver and the included hex wrench. Just take your time and follow the pictures carefully. Some of the pieces look very similar but aren't identical so you need to install them in the right place.

The cart pieces are solid wood (not particle board or MDF) so the screws drive firmly into the pieces and hold it all together nice and tightly. The only veneer is the back panel and the side panels (oh yeah, and the bottom of the drawer). These resemble thin pieces of paneling that slide into grooves routed into the solid wood frame and it's all very sturdy when it's completed. When I got it all put together, the right side door wouldn't close completely because the hinges were sprung inward. I simply popped the door back off and tapped the hinges outward with a hammer to "unspring" them. Upon replacing the door, it now fit perfectly and closed completely. I've included a few pictures of the finished product.

One pointer I would give for someone who hasn't had much experience assembling prefab. furniture is that you not be too aggressive about tightening all the fittings as you go. It's better to get it all together barely tightened and then go back and uniformly tighten the fittings making a few circuits on all the fasteners. This will sometimes alleviate issues with the final product not fitting together squarely.

I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again if I needed another similar item.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the careful packaging, solid wood construction and decent finish quality of this item, especially for the price. Highly recommended. It exceeded my expectations, noting that a few reviewers mention broken components and assembly issues.

There was a minor flaw (broken edge) on one of the drawer sides but it isn't visible after assembly and was of no consequence. All major items were individually wrapped in paper or foam sheet and the shipping box was sturdy. I mineral oiled all the pieces before assembly which was quick and easy. Everything fitted square once screwed together, the drawer runs smoothly and the doors hang straight. One could easily give the wood a fine sanding, finish it however one wanted to and detail it to make it even nicer. The back and side panels are printed (or veneer) card, but the woodgrain look matches the solid wood very well. The casters are a bit cheap/plasticy but could be replaced if they break.

This is a much more solid item than comparable ones I saw at local stores (e.g. BigLots) that were quite wobbly and cost more. For the same money one probably couldn't get decent stock to scratch build the same thing - not to mention the time and sawdust!
Absolutely perfect!!!

This cart is really done right. Pieces all fit...hinges are on the door (that is usually a trouble spot) so no problem dropping them in. The drawer can also be a touchy fit but not this one....perfect fit!! The finish is beautiful and also matches our kitchen table, a plus. The finished product looked just like the picture. It is built almost entirely with Allen screws and they include the Allen wrench to fit. It wasn't bad but I have a set of Allen's that fold out and thus give a handle to allow more pressure and less sore palms. There are a few small Phillips to put the drawer and handle together and that's it. Great piece of kitchen furniture or could be used in other areas of house where storage and work are needed.
I added the KD Organizers 6-slot drawer organizer, also from Amazon and they go together perfectly.
