Absolutely horrible! Worked once before it started folding over while retracting. I'd have to stand there for a good 5-10 minutes fussing with the netting so it would retract without it bunching up. Now it won't retract more than a couple of feet and it completely sags. Complete waste of money.

It does its job at the bottom of the driveway to keep balls from rolling into the street, and give my toddler the playing limits. However, it is kind of a pain to retract back into the roller and needs some manipulation to get it go all the way back in without having the material fold up on itself and become too thick to fit in the housing. For the hassle, its probably better to save some money and buy the non-retractable version and just roll it up yourself when you are done.

This product is a bright, noticeable visual barrier for a driveway. I do not believe it will stop child from crawling under or around it, and the manual provided with the product states clearly that it is only a visual barrier. It likely would be effective in keeping someone from driving into a driveway where a child might be playing. The spring-loaded retraction is not perfect, but it can be wound up with some manual assistance. Very easy to install.
