Couple issues, but it is a tank that shoots!
BradMarch 19, 2017
Kids stole this from me to shoot at the chinese tank I bought earlier. Feed system had serious issues. More ammunition went into the tank body than it fired. A ramp leading to the barrel in the turret was lacking a high enough barrier to keep the 6mm bb's from going everywhere but the barrel. Cut and glued a piece of plastic from the accessory molding to fix this. The detail on this tank is really good, although the accessories are going to really get knocked off and lost in short order.
Worked great for the first 24 hours
Amazon CustomerDecember 24, 2016
Worked great for the first 24 hours, then a track broke. Now I have to order a new set of tracks. I guess you get what you pay for. The metal tracks cost more than the damn tank. Not worth it. Be prepared for the cheap low quality plastic tracks to break. Get some sets of spare tracks if you want to buy this thing. Consider this toy disposable at this price point.
Nice tank, very detailed
William ShortJuly 24, 2015
Nice tank, very detailed. I unpacked the tank and accessories and carefully read the instructions. I charged the NiCad battery pack and installed it in the tank, I placed the nine volt battery, supplied, in the remote control. I set the tank on my living room floor and started the tank in action. The tank traveled forwards, backwards, and turned nicely. I moved the canon up and down without any problem. The canon shot harder than I expected it would. My first shot was at my oak entertainment cabinet, and it left a nasty 6mm diameter dent about 3/16" deep in it from about a range of about eight feet. Unfortunately the first time I rotated the turret It stopped after approximately a 20-25 degree clockwise rotation. This was about 5 to 6 minutes into the time I started using the tank. I continued using the tank until the battery went dead. Everything continued to work properly except even after several attempts the turret would never rotate further in any direction. I am sending it back for a refund.
ONE AWESOME TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This tank was Pilfered in transit, HOWEVER after contacting the kind folks @ Amazon.com Customers Service & telling them of the situation they offered to "REPLACE" THE TANK WITH A BRAND NEW ONE "NO CHARGE" & TO SHIP IT EXPRESS "since it's a birthday present for my grandson" . I was really impressed 'cause this is the BEST TANK OUT THERE "In My Opinion" I've got 3 of them & they're ALL OPERATIONAL...The biggest problem is wearing out the External Drive Gear, so I've blended down a mixture of Super Glue & Alcohol then used a cheap paint brush and coated the drive gear several times with that mixture, ALL OF MY TANKS ARE 1-3 YEARS OLD & I USE THEM EVERY DAY, THE BIGGEST PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS VACCUUMING THE AIRSOFT 6mm PROJECTILES OFF THE FLOOR, I love my tanks & for real fun I USE THEM EVERY DAY, another note LET THE DRIVE GEAR DRY COMPLETELY FOR SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE USING THE TANK & MAKE SURE THE "POWER PACK" IS FULLY CHARED PRIOR TO USING THE TANK. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good buy for a young kid learning RC - inexpensive quality

So far, my son has really put this thing through the paces inside but looks rugged enough to tackle moderate outdoors dry stuff. Sand and water would likely destroy it but it works well so far with 10-12 charging cycles and use.
Tank itself is solid and feels like it can take a light beating with aplomb. Controller is just the opposite with very cheap plastic, crap buttons, and the super craptastic expanding metal wand that everyone has broken at some time in their life. That said, the controller works but is easily the weak link in this buy. Everything works as needed and the battery for the controller is junk and took a bit to figure that was our problem.
The instructions never say how long to charge the battery pack so we settled on 4 hours minimum. Pack stays quite warm even for 6+ hours so unless you have a method to check the charge level, that part is a guessing game.
Have not shot the BB's yet (the included BB's are not so good and read reviews that they can get stuck) but plan on buying quality Airsoft BB's and testing that outside.
Overall, good solid construction and everything has worked better than expected given the low price compared to many other choices out there. Not having spent much on RC tanks, this has been a nice moderate buy for my son.

P.S. the turret makes a terrible noise if something prevents rotation so that is likely gear grinding but from the few times it has happened, turret stills turns fine but expecting that to cause problems......
