This product was recommended by my surgeon to help reduce scar tissue. It does not come with any instructions save for the picture on the packaging which indicates it can be washed. You should know that it is very expensive ($20 for a 5x6" sheet). But it can be cut to fit the scar. It's also important to know that it must be worn from 12 to 22 hours per day over the course of up to 3 months for it to work. The pieces can be washed, left to air dry, and reused until they no longer adhere. But after applying the area must be wrapped with a compression bandage or plain gauze. I think this item should come with very explicit instructions on its proper use.
