Like other have noted there are a lot of sharp edges that need to be filed down before use. My corn snake loves this thing. I can always find her curled up inside of it.

I got the size Small for a 45g hognose.
This product appears to be made of a durable beige/amber mold-injected resin that has been painted. The one I received had an extra blob of material in the side entrance, many sharp edges along the seams and bottom, and a paint job that was cursory at best.
Overall i was disappointed with the quality of this product. I also ordered the Zoo Med 3-in-1 cave, which turned out to be a better choice. Zoo Med Reptile Shelter 3 in 1 Cave, Small
