These are very easy to use and don't require a lot of grip strength. I did an entire room in about 1 hour. So much easier to use than a miter box and little mess. You can even use them.to shave tiny bits off to make minor adjustments.

This has helped me put new quarter round in my whole house. Cutting on the miter can be dangerous plus all the back and forth outside sucks. I work so much more quickly with this tool largely with pine trim and a few pvc pieces. Obviously, the PVC is easiest to cut, use that in the bathrooms. But haven't had trouble with the pine either but have to squeeze a little bit tighter. I'm a woman and didn't have any issue using this tool, no matter what just ease into your squeeze. So glad I saw this demonstrated on a youtube video, probably the best thing I bought for my remodel. Why anyone would not use this knowing its out there would be crazy.

Purchased cutter for pvc 3/4 inch qtr round. After reading package directions, (always read directions) I made first 90 degree cut. This tool cut the pvc like a sharp knife thru butter. Additional cuts were similar
