LASTS AND LASTS!

I used this on a bathroom remodel a few years back instead of that damn silicone crap.
This stuff is still adhering like it's supposed to, shows ZERO signs of deterioration, and no apparent leakage.
If you have previously used that silicone garbage, be advised that NO AMOUNT OF CLEANING will get ALL the residue off and this stuff WILL NOT ADHERE! It can only be used on NEW INSTALLATIONS! It WILL leak if you try to use it on top of previously siliconed joints.
The reviews that are claiming that it does not adhere are most certainly applying this over a surface that had previously been caulked with SILICONE. The tube probably says that it will not adhere to silicone. AGAIN: There is NO AMOUNT of cleaning, or ANY SOLVENT that I have found that will COMPLETELY remove the silicone residue!

I've used it for a year or two now. I like it. Gets more expensive each year but so does everything else
Spendy but quality product

Great caulk
Great sealant

Sticky, flexible, and dries crystal clear. Only thing I didn't like was the clean up. Needs mineral spirits or orange cleaner (goo gone).
Adheres well but difficult to work with because it tacks up fast

I used this clear general purpose caulk for around my tub and shower combo, which is made of some type of plastic or fiberglass. I am not sure exactly what it is but def not porcelain. I also used this for the interior side of windows.
PROs:
Good adhesion (even if some old caulk remains)
Will stick to itself so you can touch up gaps
Was easily painted with latex paint
CONS:
Tacks up fast. I suggest having a container of water to dip your finger in to smooth (water makes a big difference) and doing increments so that you have time to smooth it before it dries.
While it adheres just fine, I do not recommend clear for bottom of the tub where it meets the floor because you have to be very careful not to get little hairs or dust while it dries/cures. If you can completely leave the bathroom alone for a day or 2 then you shouldn't have many problems but we still had to use the bathroom and every time you walk in you can bring in dust and little hairs from out pets.
Final thoughts:
This was my second time ever caulking and it was hard to work with this caulk. I liked it for its adhesion and that I could get away with not having to completely remove the old caulk. However, for people who want a perfectly smooth finish, I do not recommend this.
