Good item for a good price

Bought this because I needed an inexpensive product to hang the iron and ironing board. It is well made and does the job it was intended to do. The only reason for 4 stars was because the included screws have a head size that is too small to ensure a good fit for keeping the bracket on the wall. I replaced the screws with a wider head and they worked great. So if you buy this, use a different screw for mounting.

As expected, this iron and ironing board holder holds my iron and my ironing board. (Better Houseware Iron and Ironing Board Holder, Chrome, 1425) It is not fancy, but looks good, and that is OK. I basically avoid my iron and ironing board as much as I can, so I just wanted a place for them that was up off the floor and out of the way. My husband did add plastic wall anchors to make it a bit more secure. This has been up a couple of weeks, and I have actually used my iron and ironing board two or three times, and it is still securely mounted to the wall in my laundry room.

Sturdy and great space saver! My iron with the mat fits just right. Since my ironing board stands by itself when stowed away, I'm using the 2 hooks for my belts and accessories. This is the cheapest one I can find.

One problem, which thanks to previous reviewers, I was able to easily correct. The screws that come with this have very small heads, and don't begin to provide an adequate mounting system on their own. Fortunately I had a bunch of washers on hand. Needed to use two washers for each screw because the screw heads are so small they slipped right through the holes in the big washers. But, stacking a small washer over a large washer worked just fine! I was also worried my Hamilton Beach iron with built-in cord storage wouldn't fit, but it fits perfectly.

This works well, however I wouldn't say it would work for doors unless you want to drill holes in them. Also it doesn't mount well. To keep it from slipping up over the screws I got creative and drilled screws below and above the metal mounting bars so of it gets bumped it won't fall. See pic. There's screws at the top to hang and below the iron above the bar to lock it in. Works great
