Seems fine. Butler Creek products are usually fine. This one seemed well made for the price and will doubtlessly work fine.

As a note, however, the BC site said this was for the primary lens of a Simmons 511039 3 - 9 x 32mm .22 scope. It is not so - the OD is greater than the ID of the scope. Just be aware that the correct size seems to be a 13.

These covers are awesome! I replaced my 'bikini' style covers for the flip open ones. The bikini covers attracted dirt/dust and were a pain to clean off. The major advantage of the flip open covers it that you don't have to remove them when you're ready to shoot.

NOTE: MEASURE YOUR EYE PIECE AND OBJECTIVE LENSES! I had to return the eye piece because it didn't fit. The manufacturer's specs were incorrect. I got a digital caliper to get an accurate reading. The 2nd order fit more snugly.

I had a difficult time figuring out how to measure to know what size to buy. View the videos on the sellers page and it'll be easier to figure out. I purchased the one which had a button to open, however, the one I received was the regular flip up without the button. Overall, it's protecting my red dot and fits snug. You have to press firmly to hear the click and ensure it's snapped on properly. The lid is a bit thinner than I was hoping for but it's doing the job well. Definitely buying a pair for another scope.

This deserves less than one star. I have the size recommendation from my scope manufacturer so I ordered those sizes. I received the product on time due to Amazon prime, the objective lense was open inside of the packaging. I opened the plastic case and the lense cover would not stay closed and was WAY to big. The eye cover shows the red thumb button on the picture but be warned, you will not receive that. That size is also to big. I will never order from Butler Creek ever again. The size difference I can understand but even if the sizes were accurate I would still have to return due to the faulty function of the objective cap not staying closed.

There's a distinctive pop when you open this. Not what I'd call silent. The fit was good though and the opening action is smooth and it goes the full range. I've had some in the past that wouldn't carry all the way through but these are good. For this size, I would've preferred the collar be a bit more shallow. If you're buying it for a red dot, you'll end up with a physical extension due to the extra materiel, so if you're cramming a bunch of stuff together on a rail you might have to make some changes.
