Always wary of Dorman parts, but this one seems to be working just fine.

Just what we needed for our jeep, hubby put it in himself. So far so good and the price was great, got it fast also.

Great buy, worked as expected

Evap issues (codes) can be complicated on Jeep/Chrysler of this era ... and many LDP's have a high failure rate ... as they somewhat complicated inside (and in the system) they need good vacuum from the throttle body/line and activate via communicating with the computer while running "tests" along with the purge valve ... having said that my OEM failed at 200 K ... replaced with a Dorman LDP last year and ... the new Dorman replacement fixed the Check Engine Light (code - p1494) ... but reappeared 10 months later ... checked all the lines, bench tested the LDP and it was working "intermittently" some internal glitch ... I've always had pretty good luck with Dorman parts, and they're 1/3 the price of OEM .... called Amazon, they gave me Dormans warranty # and they okayed the replacement for me quickly ... Amazon send a new one at no cost the next day (but did have to return/drop off the bad one to UPS).... so check engine light (p-1494) is gone after cleared/reset and I've driven a few test cycles (cold starts) and it has not returned .... if you're not savvy about checking evap systems, have a trusted pro do it ... and a smoke test to pinpoint "other" issues that are common and frequent ... so not a bad replacement for 1/3rd the OEM cost for a Jeep with 260 K on it ... I've owned 2 of them and this one has been rebuilt from the ground up a few times, looks and drives like new ... Amazon/Dorman warranty people were polite and efficient with no hassle return/replacement ... pretty sure all Dorman products are lifetime warranty ... why I now buy lots of auto parts on Amazon as they keep the records/receipts on your account and deliver fast ... so 5 Stars for this Dorman LDP product ... and a big thanks to Amazon/Dorman warranty people
