Works!

Wow I wish I had a video review because I don't think written reviews are doing this product justice. This stuff is uh-mazing!
The Disaster:
I had just moved into a new apartment and decided to do some laundry and see if I could meet a cute girl (you know, recreate the scene in 40 Days and 40 Nights). So anyways, I unwittingly didn't cap my Tide bottle. By the time I realized, I had a thick laundry detergent line running from the back of the building, up the stairs and straight into my apartment where I successfully had a very thick line running all over the new brown carpet. It also got all over my pants and shoes. So I was like "Awesome!". But not really. I quickly panicked and filled a bucket with hot water and a rag and scrubbed furiously at the carpet. I thought this did the trick, but over the next few days the line reappeared and it was much darker. Very obvious. My roommate wasn't as stoked that I successfully lost our deposit in such an admirable way. But wait!
The Master Plan:
So that happened weeks ago. I moved in on December 9th, and ruined the carpet two days later. Well, it was January 10ish before I decided to review some products online and see if I could fix this problem. I stumbled upon Spot Shot and decided to give it a chance (I didn't think it would work, thought it was too good to be true). I had already waited a month and when I had tried to clean the stains I had scrubbed into the carpet, not dabbing it like I should have.
How Stella Got Her Groove Back:
Sooo, I did as the directions on the bottle said: Filled a bucket with hot water, dampened my cloth/rag and rung it out, and started spraying. I would spray about a foot of the stain (it was probably about 6 feet long running through the living room) quite heavily, maybe 15 sprays per 1 foot section. I would let it wait for 1 minutes, then press with the damp cloth and dab and press again and repeat until, voila! It was gone! I was so stoked I made my roommate stop watching TV and watch me clean! This stuff was magic in a bottle! I'm not even kidding! It worked so wonderfully! I just repeated these steps and you can't even tell I had a stain in my carpet! Not at all! My roommate was just as happy as I was!
I recommend this product to everyone and anyone! It works! It works! it wooooooorks!
I know this review was random and somewhat incoherent.

What a cleaner

Was on the fence about purchasing this product as many have claimed to do what this cleaner does. Little ones carpet in room had some nasty stains and needed a good cleaning. I was totally amazed as followed instructions and used product as stated. The stains are gone and carpet looks new. Also liked the fact there were no ugly smells lingering after and during cleaning. After cleaning this room we tried on several areas around house with same result. Spot Shot works!!!!!! Reordered as do not want to be out of this product.
Hits the spot!

Anyone with an elderly dog understand my problem. I had been calling in the carpet cleaning service every month, but that is quite costly. No other spot remover/pet odor eliminator proved to very effective, and I was resigned to just tightening my belt and living with the high cost of carpet maintenance. And then I found Spot Shot. This stuff really works. Even non-dog related stains, including the bete noir of beige carpets...red wine...comes up completely. You're almost tempted to make a stain just to see how fast they disappear. You spray, blot and presto...all gone. That fast.
But wait, there's more. The product is marked Non Toxic and I have no reason to doubt them. Because I have pets, I do not use insect sprays even though I have a terror of all bugs, but especially moths. I was under attack by a really -- and I mean really really big one a few nights ago. I generally spray insects with hairspray because it kind of freezes them and you can pick them up with a paper towel and flush them away. But as it happened, I was out of Aqua Net. In panic I grabbed the nearest spray thing and gave the moth, which was hammering around inside a lampshade, one little spritz...and it dropped like a rock. Forget bug sprays. You can kill two bugs with one stone with this stuff.
Just a very handy thing to have around.

Have plenty of white cloths or paper towels on hand for blotting

Wow, did this get put to the test. Something didn't agree with my sweet cat's stomach because he retched repeatedly during one long night early this week and I'm grateful he at least kept it to one area of our home. The only suggestion I can make is that the area the spray covers be widened because the number of pumps required for each spot was tiring although not as much as blotting it up out of the carpet.
Good product

This stuff works great for pre-spotting carpet before running my Bissell machine. It's a hard to find product here. Fair price.
Oddly packed in box with DVDs, books, metal cases of drawing pencils and a hand mirror.Air packets only in top of box. Otherwise would have given 5 stars
