It was a pain to wrap this on the cat on my ford explorer but i can blame that on ford. It has worked well reducing hear output and lasted so far through daily usage. I do have a rainy season coming up here in FL and will report back with any issues if there are failures.

This tape reflects heat as advertised, but it is hardly sticky at all. Once applied I had to add a layer of high heat electrical tape over the top to keep it in place. If the electrical tape melts then I am back to square one, as this tape will NOT stay in place on its own.
I would not buy this again and instead would find something with some real adhesive on the back side.

This is more like 4.5 stars. This tape is very thick and appears to be able protect the wiring harness in our Land Cruiser. I wish it was longer, but I knew the length when I purchased it. I would buy it again.

As a number of people said, it don't stick for long, however trying to stick it on the thing that actually gets hot is a no no.
It should only be applied to a use facing away from the heat to something that you don't want to get hot.
I wrapped and zip tied for a longer application and have had no issue.
