Very nice well fitting aquarium cover for a deep blue 20 gallon long. Snaps right on firmly to the deep blue. Corners have nice cutouts for air hoses perfect for bog garden terrariums turtles etc. Buy the clips for escape artists but will stay put on a deep blue's nice thick top.Always a good idea to spray a layer of UV protectant premium matte paint over all steel screens before using in wet or semi wet applications.Repeat this once a year to be sure no rust forms. I sealed mine in a vacuum storage bag.

It is what it is: a terrarium cover. I have a strangely proportioned terrarium from when I made the poor decision to purchase a "desert starter kit" from a certain pet store. The tank is 36" x 16" on top which is 2 inches narrower than the more standard 36" x 18", so I knew this wasn't going to be a perfect fit. That being said, it fit perfectly lengthwise and feels very sturdy. I paired it with Zilla Reptile Terrarium Covers Heavty Duty Screen Clips, Lg 30G+, 2-pk and it stayed on even with the two inch overhang. I've also had a halogen mini-dome strapped right on the screen and there is no warping or discoloration. Very satisfied overall.

Just what I was looking for; cheap but it works!

I have a 5.5 gal from aqueon, and this fits over it very nicely. Though, I would definitely buy the clip fasteners if you have a reptile that likes to escape, because this just sits on top of the tank, and could easily be pushed up by a determined pet.

(And in case someone notices in the pictures and is worried; yes, I do have hermits in it, but I keep the temp and humidity up, and will upgrade size when they grow!)

These are awesome. The only downside is our cage had a sliding screen and had a little extra bulk but if you pull it on just right it'll fit. The old Mesh screens broke the moment the cat jumped onto the cage.. it was a scary moment seeing your cat inside your gecko cage but this screen is a metal, not mesh so it's perfect if the cat tries to jump on the cage again.

I bought this because my cat wouldn't stop climbing on top of my expensive exo-terra terrarium I purchased for my snake. The terrarium itself has a this mesh top which is not meant to withstand the weight of my cat. Until this came in the mail I littered the top of the terrarium with various objects to try to deter my cat from thinking it could squeeze somewhere in between or overtop of the various objects. Now that the cage is covered with this sturdy top I no longer have to clutter the top of the cage with junk, and miracle upon miracle it must have a built in cat deterrent because my cat hasn't even attempted to climb on top of the cage now that it has the option and ability to do so 😒
