Easy to install. Living on the coast, the fixture needs to be replaces about every four years as salt air is pretty tough on them. Not sure how long the post will last, but it is more substantial in construction than the fixture. Just to be sure, I painted it with a coat of epoxy spray paint that is supposed to be salt resistant. The post is also somewhat attractive according to neighborhood criticseasy

This is made in China and is very lightweight but it looks beautiful its very well made and the most important it is rustproof, not like the one from Home Depot that I replaced. It was thick, heavy not as pretty but completely rotted out when I took out of ground. This one get the job done very well, just a couple of minutes. Easiest way dig it in a couple of more inches, buy an all weather outdoor extension cord you plug in one side and you cut the other side and connect to the top cover whichever you choose they are all standard same size.
