Very inconsistent and does not reset to "0" all the time.
JCFebruary 6, 2018
This product is so inconsistent and not accurate at all. We have tried weighing same products or boxes with other scales in the office and this is the only one that comes out different. Always a bit under or over....that is not even consistent. It seems to do exceptionally worse with lighter weight items (under 1lb). We did not notice it at first because who would have thought a scale would be inconsistent, but after awhile we noticed that weight on items kept fluctuating so we compared with other scales and sure enough this product is the one that is off.
Not only that, it never seems to want to go back to "0" after weighing heavy boxes (30-50lbs).
Wish we can return it but the return time frame has passed so it will have to be trashed....what a waste.
Doesn't Register Under 1lb / .5kg
Daniel M. HendricksDecember 10, 2017
The scale worked great for heavier items, but I was very disappointed to learn that it doesn't register items less than 1lb. If not for that issue, it was a decent scale. However, I bought it for sending packages (which include both First Class as well as parcel items), so I needed the full range.

I ended up getting a 70lb Dymo USB scale instead.
... this scale two years ago and it still works like a charm

I bought this scale two years ago and it still works like a charm. We also use it on a daily basis. I bought two more recently. This scale is hardy and very easy to use. The only drawback is that the battery does not last that long if it is used unplugged. I bought several kinds of scales before. This one is the best so far. It is a perfect scale for business use.
then this may be just fine.

I purchased this for work to use as our shipping scale for UPS and such, and it is not very accurate. We put a light package (less than a pound) and it would read nothing. Obviously it is less than a pound, so you would just say one pound when shipping, but on another package it was a pound or so off. Okay, so maybe it needs some calibration, So I look at the manual concerning that and a person needs 50KG, 100KG, and 150kg weights to calibrate. Seriously? Anyway, this obviously is not the scale to be using for UPS shipments. The size was right but I am not impressed with the accuracy of the device. If somewhere close is okay for you, then this may be just fine.
Not as described.

I will be sending this back. I need a scale to measure out ingredients for feeding bees. I put a small item on the scale (the plug-in wall charger was handy) and nothing happened! The scale still read 0/0. I put a 5-gal bucket on the scale and it read 1.7 lbs. I hit "TARE" and it zero'd correctly. I then started adding water to the bucket, watching the display. Nothing...nothing...nothing -- until i had over a half gallon in the bucket! At that point the numbers started to roll and attempt to catch up. Despite having a digit showing tenths of lbs or ounces, apparently this scale is useless at weights below a pound, it seems. So much for being described as a "shipping" scale.
